Need some help paying those server rental fees? Good at video editing and promoting? If so, Art of War Central could use your help. We are looking for a few talented people to making promotional movies for AoWC.

For every video submitted you will receive $10 Art of War Central credits that can be used to either pay for your current server(s) or even get a new one!

Each month will be a new theme this month we will be using the theme:
“What makes a great game server?”

Requirements for the clips are as follows:

1. Must be hosted on YouTube (www.youtube.com)
2. At least 15 seconds long but no longer than 60 seconds long.
3. Must be free from profanity, drug use, pornography…etc. (If you wouldn’t show it to a 4 year old, it shouldn’t be in the video)
4. Must mention ArtofWarCentral.com & Game Server Hosting
5. Must not bash or demean any other company, including, but not limited to: other Game Server Providers, Game Development Studios, or any other real world company (i.e. Microsoft, McDonald’s)
6. Must not promote any other product besides ArtofWarCentral.com. This isn’t to say you cannot use images or themes from your favorite games.
7. Limit 1 per account per month
8. Video must be posted in this thread to get credit
9. Video must match this month’s theme

1. How do I get video or pictures to make into a video?

You make get video or make video for digital video or picture files.
You can get these files in variety of ways. Many digital cameras have movie functions. You can make nice videos from picture files. Even Photos from your photo albums can be digitized by using a scanner.


2. How do I make a video?

Windows Movie Maker is software that is bundled with Windows XP. It has simple import pictures or import video function. Then you can save your movie in a number of different formats, most of which are compatible with YouTube.

Apple iMovie is a free video tool for Macs.

3. How do I make pictures into a video?

Windows Movie Maker has an import pictures function. Photo Story 3 is a great tool for windows users for compiling picture videos. It allows you to create non-copyrighted music to go along with your pictures and add titles and credits.

Apple iMovie allows users to upload photos.

Please keep your stories under 4 minutes.


4. What format should I save my video or picture story in?

When you want to save your video, most video editing programs will ask how to save them. You pick the format by choosing the file extension name. The YouTube site recommends saving as ... "QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files. These are the most common formats and they work well within our system. We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube." We understand that .wmv works on YouTube too.

5. How do I upload my video?

You go to YouTube and register. After registering, click on upload "Upload New Video." Please make sure that your video is for "public" viewing. Just follow the prompts. You can
decide whether you want other viewers to rate or comment on your video.

I can’t give you a sample yet since no one has posted one yet 
But, it’s up to you, all you have to do is make a video promoting AoWC as long as it meets the rules. And post it on youtube.
